Clean Electronics Case Study

July 8, 2008

The National Pollution Prevention Roundtable is conducting a survey of small and medium sized electronics manufacturers in the United States.  The purpose of the survey is to determine the extent to which small and medium sized electronics manufacturers are able to improve their environmental performance and the extent to which they require assistance to make these improvements.

The results of the study will enable the Clean Electronics Pollution Prevention Partnership (CEP3) to better cater technical assistance to the needs of electronics manufacturers.  The Clean Electronics Pollution Prevention Partnership (CEP3) is an initiative of the North America Pollution Prevention Partnership (NAP3) in cooperation with the Commission on Environmental Cooperation. CEP3 is a voluntary environmental leadership initiative among industry, government, and non-governmental organizations committed to eliminating or significantly reducing the use of identified toxics and hazardous constituents in electronics manufactured or imported in the North American market.  The mission of the CEP3 is to take a preventive approach to reducing the health and environmental risks associated with electronics production and consumption.
