P2 Pioneers Webinar

This webinar is designed to look back at the pollution prevention movement and its evolution. The webinar will investigate the evolution of the P2 assessment and skill sets needed, the emergence of voluntary programs, utilizing a management systems approach, improved partnership development, and the stabilization and expansion of performance metrics.
Arkansas Department of Environmental Quality - PACE Discussion
The Arkansas Department of Environmental Quality will feature Steve Patterson, the Executive Director of the Arkansas Advanced Energy Association, during P2 Week. Mr. Patterson will talk about the Property Assessed Clean Energy (PACE) bill which passed in Arkansas in April 2013. The talk is part of ADEQ’s Putting Green to Work green-bag lunch series and is set for 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 19, 2013, at ADEQ headquarters. Admission is free, but pre-registration is required.

2013 Annual Pollution Prevention Conference and Trade Show
Don’t forget about NPPR’s annual conference to be held the week after P2 Week! The 16th Annual Pollution Prevention Conference and Trade Show to be held on September 25-26, 2013, in Plainfield, Indiana. This will be NPPR’s annual conference this year. The conference agenda includes workshops, panels, and presentations from national and local speakers regarding pollution prevention, sustainability, and environmental stewardship. The conference will provide excellent networking and learning opportunities.
