Research & Technology Transfer The mission of this group is to encourage P2 and process innovation through the use of new and commercially available technologies. The group is currently focusing on effective technology diffusion. They recently focused on five technology areas to advance the adoption of these technologies which have significant P2 potential: closed loop aqueous cleaning, waterborne wood finishing, closed mold fiberglass reinforced plastics, dry machining and waterborne adhesives. Scoping documents are available on P2 research in these industry sectors. The group has also written a white paper discussing government’s role in pollution prevention technology verification. This paper explores the issue of technology verification for P2 technology by addressing one technology verification program, U.S. EPA's Environmental Technology Verification (ETV) Program. - Learn More -
