Vanguard Renewables is changing the way the world views waste and how we power our lives. Working alongside farms to manage manure and enhance regenerative agriculture practices, the company operates 6 anaerobic co-digesters (manure + food waste) in New England and plans to build 30 more in 14 states over the next 3 years. Participants will learn about Vanguard Renewables' unique partnerships and how its technology converts biogas into renewable natural gas (RNG) , electricity, and tons of environmental benefits. You will also learn about some of the challenges of recycling food waste to fight global warming and the science of anaerobic co-digestion.

The speakers:

Kaylyn Bacha, Senior Environmental Engineer

Kaylyn supports site operations and manges the biological health of six anaerobic co-digestion projects in New England.

Billy Connelly, Organics Market Manager for VT, NH, & ME

Billy manages partnerships with commercial food and beverage manufacturers to recycle their organics into renewable energy.
