Join Georgia Tech’s Georgia Manufacturing Extension Partnership (GaMEP) for a series of one-hour webinars on energy and environmental issues affecting manufacturers across Georgia. As part of the Pollution Prevention (P2) Program with the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), these webinars are designed to provide you with actionable tips and tools covering a variety of topics geared towards achieving a more sustainable Georgia.

By attending this webinar in the series, participants will learn:

  • How Science Based Targets initiatives (SBTi) support your Sustainability programs
  • How to define your pathways to reduce emissions (GHG)
  • The relations between existing KPIs and SBTi
  • The benefits of adopting SBTi
  • What the expectations are for your organization's ability to meet Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) established by the UN

Speaker:

Sandra Enciso, Project Manager, Energy and Sustainability, Georgia Manufacturing Extension Partnership (GaMEP)

Sandra Enciso helps organizations develop and implement environmental, health, and safety management systems to achieve certification under ISO 14001 and OHSAS 18001. She also provides technical assistance to companies by evaluating environmental regulatory requirements and managing the Pollution Prevention Program through the Partnership for a Sustainable Georgia.

Her expertise includes Environmental Compliance, Water/Wastewater Treatment, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, Stormwater Pollution Prevention Plan (SWPPP), Spill Prevention, Control, and Countermeasure (SPCC), and Toxic Release Inventory (TRI).

Sandra holds an M.S. in Environmental Resources Management from the University of South Carolina, and a B.S. in Chemical Engineering from the American University in Colombia. She is also a Certified ISO 14001:2015 Lead Auditor.
